CHelsea Crabtree Cornwell

CLC Dance Owner, Dance Teacher & Choreographer

Chelsea Crabtree began dancing at an early age and studying Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Modern and Improvisation. She continued her dance education at Columbia College Chicago where she obtained her B.A. in dance with an emphasis on dance education and composition.  While at Columbia College Chicago, Chelsea’s passion for arts integration in the public school system grew. Chelsea started CLC Dance, LLC in 2018 after 4 years of teaching dance, creative movement, and physical education full-time at performing arts charter schools as a way to make dance education accessible to everyone. Since starting CLC Dance, Chelsea has worked with the excellent students of South-Western City Schools, Columbus City Schools, The Wellington School and Columbus Academy through dance education programs, and choreographing musicals and show choirs. Chelsea has created a dance program dedicated to building students’ character, and teaching lifelong habits of confidence, teamwork, and physical wellness. Chelsea is excited to continue her 10th year teaching dance professionally. 

Diane Crabtree

Administrator

Diane Crabtree retired in August of 2020 after 41 years in banking, and her last position held was Vice President of ACH Operations for the Huntington Bank. Diane truly enjoyed her first season as administrator at CLC Dance.  She danced herself as a child for over 10 years, Tap and Jazz being her favorite.  Over the years she has continued to dance with Jazzercize where she currently is a class manager. Diane is looking forward to the next CLC season, and she is thankful for the opportunity.

Catie jaglowski

Dance Teacher & Choreographer

Catie Jaglowski has danced since she was 5 and danced competitively for 7 years, of which the last 3 were with CLC Dance. Through this, she has had the opportunity to attend many competitions, conventions, and intensives that have helped foster a real love of dance that she is excited to continue pursuing and share with students. Catie is currently a student at OSU as a neuroscience major and dance minor, and is a member of the club Dance Coalition at the university. 

Kayla Kulwicki

Dance Teacher & Choreographer

Kayla Kulwicki is thrilled to share her knowledge and passion of dance as a CLC Dance teacher! Kayla has been teaching for 4 years at multiple studios in the Columbus area, in a range of styles and ages. She has been dancing since age 5, and hasn’t stopped since! Kayla has trained with a variety of dance instructors throughout Ohio, as well as throughout the Mid-West. Kayla’s goal as an instructor is to provide the foundation that she never fully recieved as a young dancer, as well as instilling the confidence that you can do anything you set your mind to!

Morgan Lapinski

Dance Teacher & Choreographer

Morgan Lapinski is so very excited to share her love and passion for dance through her students at CLC Dance! Morgan has been teaching  for over 5 years at multiple studios throughout the Columbus area, in a variety of dance styles, and is thrilled to be working with the talented students at CLC! Morgan began her dance training in Gahanna, OH at the national award winning studio, J.D.S.D. where she trained from 5 years old until her completion of high school. While at J.D.S.D. Morgan was able to attend multiple competitions an conventions, as well as being invited to perform on the stage of F.I.T. in New York for Tap Extravaganza! While in high school, Morgan was accepted into the Pre-Professional Dance Program at Fort Hayes Career Center, where she was able to study under talented dancers and choreographers, while also choreographing and instructing other students for performances. Morgan's choreography has won multiple accolades at regional competitions, including both special and best costume awards. As a dance educator, Morgan believes dance should be a fun and welcoming environment for all students at all levels of accessibility! 

Andrea Scherler

Dance Teacher & Choreographer

Andrea Scherler is from Cleveland, Ohio where she danced for 16 years at Art In Motion Dance Center. Throughout her competitive dance years, she was a protege for Cathy Roes Ultimate Dance competition as well as Jason Michaels Energy Source Dance Association. She attended the Rockettes Summer Intensive for 2 summers and took classes at several conventions, such as the Pulse. After high school, Andrea moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University, where she graduated with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Dance in 2017. While at Ohio State, Andrea was a member and treasurer of the Club Dance Team and attended NDA nationals for 2 years, where the team placed 8th in the nation. Currently, Andrea is a member of the Movement Afoot tap company. You can catch her performing around the community bringing tap to the people! Andrea also works at LBrands as a supply chain analyst. Although she has been teaching dance for 5 years now, she is so excited to begin her first year teaching with CLC dance!
